Technical Exchange Events

announcementTechnical exchange events were hold for scholars, researchers, industry experts and NASA subject experts to share research updates to promote institutional advancement and enhanced research capacity. Torry Johnson from NASA headquarters gave a keynote speech to UDC and guests about NASA Minority University Research and Education Project (MUREP) and related opportunities during UDC’s inaugural research week (4/19-4/23/2021).

Research Seminars

To enrich learning experiences at UDC, CAM-STAR held a series of guest seminars. The center invites researchers and professors from higher education institutions and national labs as well as industry experts and NASA engineers to share their research to inspire the students. Topics include thermal storage, electrochemical water sensors, smart manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, microstructures, Artemis projects, NASA opportunities and more.

Trainings

CAM-STAR aims to provide a platform for innovative AM-based research and holistic training to produce future leaders and lifelong learners, especially from under-represented and minority communities. CAM-STAR provides the hands-on training for students and faculty to learn how to operate the systems in the CAM-STAR facility.
